Abington Adult School - General Information

General Information

Eligibility - Abington Adult School is open to all persons, 18 years of age or older, regardless of race, color, national origin and/or ethnic origin.

Materials & Textbooks - Except where indicated, the tuition fee does not include the cost of materials or textbooks.

Tuition -.Payment is due at time of registration either by mail or in-person. Tuition is NON-REFUNDABLE after the first class. Tuition will be refunded if a course is withdrawn.There will be a $20.00 fee for all bounced checks.

Course Changes - The Adult School reserves the right to withdraw a course at its discretion, to cancel or reschedule classes.

Senior Citizens age 65 and over will receive a discount of $5.00 on courses where the tuition is $35.00 or more.

Regulations - All students agree to conform to the rules and regulations established by the Abington Adult School and the Abington School District. No smoking, alcohol, drugs, or carrying of weapons allowed on school grounds or in buildings.

Parking - Ample parking is available. Do NOT park in posted 'No Parking' areas.

Locations - Classes will meet in Abington Senior High School and Abington Junior High.

Inclement Weather - The Adult School will not be in session when the regular day school is closed due to inclement weather. The school closing numbers are 301 and/or 2438.

All classes run for 8 weeks unless otherwise stated.
